We’re hitting the road in April & May for the release of our spanking brand new album! More dates will be added and we may even have a support for one or two.. The official album launch will be on the 21st of April at The Weston Auditiorium – a big fancy 400 seater theatre with wonderfully comfy seats and even better sound – more exciting details on this to be announced soon!

As part of a fantastic fundraising effort Mawkin are offering 2 tickets to any concert next year, a signed copy of the new album before anyone else gets it, a free guitar lesson from Dave and Nick will make you a pizza!

When the Oxford Folk Festival was cancelled in 2011, the local folkies of Oxford – determined not to sit at home on a sunny weekend in April – pulled together to create Folk Weekend in its place. The good news is that its returning in 2012 – woo! – however they desperately need cash! So the lovely Cat Kelly pulled a few strings and has come up with this -
